@student I never really thought about how as you age your body can just one day become allergic to something. that's absolutely wild! Makes sense though, I mean your overall body goes through changes which we expect, and even our taste buds change.. wow!
@oliviarossiectskin-com I really really hope that I never become allergic to makeup. That would crush me honestly. It would be really disheartening to become allergic to something that you once loved.
I've never gotten a spray tan because I have really sensitive skin so its always deterred me from this sort of service. I feel really bad for her because she just wanted to have nice color and feel confident about herself filming.
@brandyhunteriectskin-com my best friend got a spray tan a few days before her wedding but ended up breaking out in itchy spots at her wedding from the spray tan. Spray tans vary in their ingredients.
This was an interesting read. It's both amazing and scary how much the body changes as we age. I could only imagine the shock she must have been in after learning that she is allergic. It really does suck to have a system that works and then all of a sudden doesn't with no explanation. I am grateful that the option to get an allergy panel done is there.
@brandyhunteriectskin-com Yes I agree. Imagine having your set routine, set products and all of a sudden on a random Tuesday boom allergic reaction. I would be hurt.
I'm a huge supporter of spray tans considering they're a safe alternative to tanning beds. They're a quick way to get some color and I always feel confident when I have a fresh glow. I never thought about the consequences of being allergic to them. I don't have the first clue as to what ingredients are in the spray tan liquid.
I don't think most people know all of the information they can find out about themselves by doing specific blood/saliva panels. Allergy testing is so beneficial for people of all ages, especially adults who suddenly develop allergies or sensitivities to scents, food, medications, etc.
In my cousin's mid-twenties she developed an allergy to peanuts. She'd spent her whole life eating peanut butter and suddenly she was allergic. It's so interesting how our bodies change, inside and out, as we age.
That has got to be awful to develop an allergy to items you need to do your job and after such a long time not being allergic to them. I guess it would be great to pay attention to ingredients even prior to developing an allergy in the event something does happen where an allergy arises, you will be able to somewhat pinpoint where it could be coming from
@deborahwatersiectskin-com The human body is so fascinating to me! It is so interesting that overtime our bodies become allergic to certain ingredients and products that we have been using our whole lives. I wonder what the root cause is that makes that happen.
Firstly, love the White Lotus and Jennifer Coolidge she is so iconic. Anyways, I find it so crazy that one day she got super swollen and had an allergic reaction to her makeup and just the day before she didn't have a major reaction to her makeup. It makes me think about my makeup products and if they are causing my skin reactions. I have been using basically the same brushes and products for years and I still have issues with acne flare ups especially if I stop taking my acne medicine for a few days. I am sure that my makeup contributes to it a little.
@kirstenzimmermaninstituteofepidermalcelltherapy-c I agree. I use to get such terrible sinus infections in college and it was almost like clockwork everytime the seasons changed. I went to get a allergy panel done and figured out what I was allergic too and now that a few years have passed, I don't have sinus infections like I use to cause I guess my body has changed!
