After receiving your acceptance email, follow these steps to access your dashboard:
- Click the "Activate Account" link in your welcome email
- Create a secure password (minimum 12 characters with uppercase, number, and symbol)
- Log in using your Student ID as the username
- Complete your profile setup including emergency contacts
- Navigate to the My Courses tab to view your enrolled classes
If you don't receive the activation email within 2 hours, check your spam folder or contact IT support at it@university.edu

Assignment submission is handled through the course portal:

Size Limits
Individual files: 100MB
Total submission: 500MB
Video files: 1GB
Late Submission Policy
Within 24 hours: -10% penalty | 24-48 hours: -25% | After 48 hours: No credit without prior extension approval

Grades & Transcripts
Technical Support
If you're experiencing login issues:
- Click "Forgot Password" on the login page
- Enter your registered email or Student ID
- Check your email for the reset link (valid for 30 minutes)
- Create a new password that differs from your last 5 passwords
Account Lock: After 5 failed attempts, your account locks for 30 minutes. Contact IT at (555) 123-4567 for immediate unlock.
Common troubleshooting steps:
Video Playback Issues
- Disable browser ad-blockers for this domain
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try incognito/private browsing mode
- Ensure HTML5 video is supported (update browser)
Upload Failures
- Check file size against limits (shown in assignment)
- Verify file extension is allowed
- Disable VPN or proxy services temporarily
- Try splitting large files or compressing videos
Account Management
Keep your information current for important notifications:
- Click your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select "Account Settings"
- Update fields as needed (phone, address, emergency contact)
- For email changes: Click "Change Email" and verify via the link sent to your new address
- Click "Save Changes"
Note: Legal name changes require submitting documentation to the Registrar's office. Display names can be updated instantly.
