@paigebrickhouseiectskin-com Sometimes i tend to wear a darker lip liner with a brighter red lipstick to really give contrast and enhance my lips

Red lipstick can be a statement piece for those who choose to wear it. It's bold and beautiful, it also is captivating. I notice I get a lot more compliments when I wear red lipstick. Especially working in the food service industry, makes my tips higher!

@camiryndavisiectskin-com I love bright red lipstick when I wear a classic look, like a black dress for date night or a special event.  It makes me feel really feminine and sexy.  My

@daniellesmithiectskin-com I can see that.  I think red lipstick is one of those shades that makes people look classy and sensual at the same and people are more likely to tip better when they find the server attractive.

@camiryndavisiectskin-com I feel the same way about red lipstick with orange undertone.  I have dark skin and it makes me feel uncomfortable.  I guess it also depends on the type of make up but I prefer a cherry red.

I used to always love seeing red lipsticks on other people and thought it looked so nice with a winged liner. I never thought about how the undertone could affect the way it looks against your skin. Something I can know watch out for when trying to pick a color.

@daniellesmithiectskin-com I would also do a darker liner than the lipstick color and blend it to create kind of an hombre look.

@cameranriddleiectskin-com I love matte lipsticks but I'm not always the best at exfoliating my lips prior to applying it so it definitely isn't my first go to or the best looking.

I love red lipstick but personally I don't think it flatters me well because of my skin tone.

@daniellesmithiectskin-com Thats a good way to look at it. I never thought about that because there are studies on how certain colors or styles can help you get higher tips.

@brianahetlandiectskin-com I never knew either so I may have to give it a try now that I know I may be able to find the right shade for me.

I'll have to try these suggestions! Red normally doesn't look nice on me but a berry might.

@alexisdozieriectskin-com same here for me. But maybe a darker red will?

Ive had the hardest times choosing red lipsticks for myself. Walking into a makeup store the lighting is so much more different than walking about in other lightings. I have maybe one lipstick that is more of an orange-red that I don't wear often at all, I feel like its a little too bold for me. I also constantly change my hair colors and even gone full red but never found one I like enough to wear on the regular or even to an event. I usually opt for a mauve pink, some kind of purple tinted pink.

@alexisdozieriectskin-com I usually opt for something tinted, not as powerful but sheer and creamy formulated due to my dislike of a bold lip on myself.

@cameranriddleiectskin-com I like the more pink side of lipsticks, ones that look just like my natural lip color and maybe a little bit enhanced. I have a double lip line so its a struggle applying bold colors not knowing where to stop when lining my lips.
