@sydneyhurdleiectskin-com Agreed keeping your employees happy, healthy, and rested is very important to keep the business running functionally.

That would be nice, especially if the pay doesn't decrease. There's never enough time between work, taking care of a home, and taking care of a family.

@aliciawellonsiectskin-com I find that after lunch time, I'm not as productive!

I think the work week being shortened could benefit many people.  Also, so many people work over 40 hours.  I say it's worth a try!

I have had the luxury of a shortened work week and aswell as working everyday and the shorter work week of course felt better. I was always at the top of my game, even if the short week days were 12+ hours it was only a few days a week. I felt more productive and eager to work, I got everything done in a timely manner while still making enough to support myself. I had time to be able to rest, take care of myself, connect with my peers, and service anything that had a timer on it like fixing my vehicle or going to appointments. But this isn't something avaliable for everyone unfortunately. It worked for me because I was still living at home with my parents, paying off my car and whatever I wanted, no husband or kids. But I believe it still would be a struggle if I had more responsibilities on my plate.

@jaydensugickiectskin-com I agree, work shouldn't be the focus of your life but for most it is, depending on how much and any responsibilities you have its hard. A shortened work week sounds great but depending on your job it might not be an option. I wait tables but not every night is a good tipping night, or we have too many people on and some get sent home. Its all up in the air how much you make a certain night that's going to meet your goal of what you need to survive on.

@camiryndavisiectskin-com Working from home would definitely lessen expenses but it depends on what type of work. Remote jobs were on the rise but there are not many around left that pay good and they all have different requirements. Not everyone has specific degrees and there are multiple people applying for the said job. Especially if you have little to no experience its harder to obtain a remote job.
