@melissalandersiectskin-com I agree. It's only feeding our insecurities and false expectations of what we should look like. It's nice to make a picture look brighter when the lighting is too dark but these filters are out here changing how a person looks.
I feel like in the past year or so everyone on social media has become more open to plastic surgery and sharing their experiences but it can make people uncomfortable seeing everyone has done something. There is the term "Instagram face" going around where its how people are starting to look the same, getting the same procedures done to have similar features but this is also how it is most places around the world. Every country and within that have beauty standards that people get surgery to obtain, I feel like its just more out in the open now and more noticeable because people now know what they are looking at and looking for.
@mikaylaalleniectskin-com I too have fallen victim to the filters, there was a time period I only used filter, no-unedited photos and felt naked without one. it took awhile to be able to take a photo without one.
@olgacoloniectskin-com I think that the little filters are okay but when they filter out too much and make you not look like yourself at all that's when it gets to the tricky gray zone where they aren't beneficial.
@daniellesmithiectskin-com It is sad to see young girls sizing themselves up to what they see on social media. It is in no way real. In addition, many people only post what they have to brag about. It makes it appear that their life is always perfect.
