I've only ever worn lash strips a couple times, and they definitely looked amazing, but I hated how they felt on my eyes. For that, I will definitely keep using mascara because of the light weight feeling and versatility that it gives when creating my lash shape.

@oliviarossiectskin-com I honestly haven't met a single person who spends more than 10 dollars on their mascara, which seems much more affordable to me than wearing fake lashes because a bottle of mascara can last for over a month but strip lashes can only be worn a couple times before they have to be thrown away.

@abigailcochraneiectskin-com False lashes are honestly so beautiful, but do not seem actually affordable. For me, a tube of mascara is only $10 and lasts more than a month because I don't wear it every day. Even a set of strip lashes that are less than $10 don't last as long because you can only wear them 3-4 times.

@keyonnastarksiectskin-com I have been doing the same thing just recently. It takes me quite a few minutes just to get the lashes exactly how I want them, but they end up lasting me about a week. This has saved me so much time in the mornings and if I chose to wear makeup I still look put together.

If I wear any type of makeup mascara is my go to since it makes me feel put together. The only trouble I have had is keeping my lashes curled since the mascara in the bottle seems to dry up fast, and preventing the dark shadow under my eyes that the mascara gives me. I have just recently switched to false lashes and it saves me so much time in the mornings! I love to make them look natural, yet still full and wispy.

@nicoleweberiectskin-com I agree, I tend to have to go back and adjust my lashes because sometimes the corners will poke me. I have also found that the full lash strips make my eyes feel super heavy so I have resorted to buying smaller individual strips or cutting them

I wear mascara occasionally and really love how it makes my eyes look but I hate the process of taking it off. I have worn false eyelashes a couple of times which I loved but I can't ever get them to stay on. I've always wanted to try lash extensions but I am from a small town which not of a lot of people do lash extensions.

@student I agree, False eyelashes can be heavy and I like how I can control what my eyelashes look like with mascara.

@paigebrickhouseiectskin-com I have wanted to get lash extensions for a long time but I am a little nervous how my lashes will react to it.

I love the look of false lashes, however I've been using mascara all of my life and only wear false lashes for important events where people will be taking pictures such as weddings, and more.

@student I totally agree! i'm a little shocked that false lashes are more popular than i thought, in the article where it states false lashes have went up 82% since 2016 because women now want that "instagram ready look" is so true.

Lashes are so huge now days, I think they look really good but I have always worn mascara and I think that getting fake lashes would ruin my natural lashes and that's a huge fear. I naturally have very very long lashes that aren't even too light I just like mascara because it gives them more of a dramatic look. Plus it is a lot more cost effective to wear mascara.

@sydneyhurdleiectskin-com I have only used false lashes in high school and it was for things like prom. I have only had the glue on ones.

@emmamidgettiectskin-com I have the hardest time with applying false lashes although its been a long time since I have tried. They always feel very uncomfortable to me but I do think they are really pretty. Lash extensions have never been an interest of mine because I feel like they would cause irritation to my eyes as well as damage my natural lashes which they are already fine the way they are.

I've always worn mascara since I started wearing makeup in general and have just never got my lashes to look that good. I switched to wearing false lashes a few years ago and I like the way they make my eyes look a lot more and they're just more convenient for me than struggling to try to make my lashes look good with mascara. I still occasionally wear mascara when I just want a less dramatic look.

@alexisdozieriectskin-com I thought they would ruin mine too but they have actually stayed the same, just have to be kinda careful when I take them off.

I like the look of fake lashes but my eyelashes have always been so long that when I have tried to put them on my real lashes don't feel right. I really wanna lash lift and tint because my lashes are already naturally really long

I haven't ever been the biggest fan of false lashes, however, nine times out of ten I have on mascara especially if im going out with friends or family and need to look more dressed up.

I tried doing my own at home last extensions before and I hated them! They were very tedious and honestly I like the look of mascara on my eyes rather than an extension. Also, no matter how hard I tried the glue got on my natural lashes and the remover they had in the kit didn't take it off. It ended up taking off some of my natural lashes and I didnt like that at all. I just use Maybelline telescopic mascara and it has always made my eyelashes very full and long. Would it be nice to wake up and already have nice lashes, sure! But I'd rather take the 5 mins to put on mascara and walk out the door then strip my natural lashes any day!

I love the idea of false lashes and I love how convenient it has come to be to apply them. If you buy the right set of lashes they can last just as long as the individual lashes. I prefer to order mine mostly from vendors who i've read good reviews from. One thing to keep in mind when purchasing eyelashes and applying them your self is the type of glue being used. Sometimes it may not be the best glue and a reaction may transpire. In that sense please read the reviews before selecting your brand.

@jaydenwilsoniectskin-com I agree, my lashes are long as well but I more so prefer falsies for the fullness look. I'm not a dramatic girly with the lashes but I love a full look.

@brandyhunteriectskin-com I received a lash lift before assuming that it would give me that always wearing mascara look, however I didn't have the best results my lashes were ruined and I had to wait till they grew back in. I think they were processed too long. I haven't tried it again since.
