@alizasaundersiectskin-com I also agree that abortion should be a private more intimate matter.

@laurenjohnsoniectskin-com I agree! This is such a great alternative to having a whole procedure done.

Honestly I'm okay with the pill being sent in the mail. It gives many women especially women who cant afford to go to the doctors and get on contraceptives the ability to chose what they want to happen with their bodies. I think yes, If you can afford to go to the doctor and have that discussion, go ahead no one is stopping you.  But we also have to step out of our own comforts and think of the women who live in poverty who simply can not afford that luxury. If you think about it, you get 15 mins maybe with a doctor who barely goes over any medication anyways, they had 5 mins to rush over your chart and then you leave with your hefty co-pay. If there are any side effects or dangers, it will be outlined on the information packet with the medicine like all of them have. I can count of my hands how many times the doctors have ever told me about medication side effects. Also, if there's an emergency you can go seek help for that outside of your primary doctors office. If the pill is safe, make it easily obtainable. The more hoops women have to jump through the less likely they will reach out and get help. So many people now a days have 2 or 3 jobs to just get by. They would have to take time off of work, which they can barely afford to live with the salaries they have no, to get a pill to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. I think the reason this isn't as well known, talked about, or easy to get is because they want to keep women oppressed and that poverty line bigger and bigger. IDK just my two cents.

Now while I am In shock about this article. I don't believe the pill should be offered over the counter. I think it should be offered in a controlled environment for side effects. To verify if the pill has been consumed or not. I am glad to know it was a choice at the time because of he convenience. I still think there should be some protocols in place for that situation.
