CONSULTATION
The Problem:
You’ve decided to seriously embrace skin care because you realize the health of your skin is important to your well being and appearance. But what do you know about your skin? “What is the underlying damage to my skin from past sun exposure? Do I have elevated levels of bacteria on my face? What are the best or most efficient protocols for me to follow to realize the results I am expecting? The Solution: We offer an extensive and comprehensive analysis you can’t find at a department store cosmetics counter. We utilize “state of the art” diagnostic equipment to clinically evaluate your skin’s current condition. Combined with a manual skin examination, we provide you with a baseline analysis upon which a results-producing protocol can be designed.

WRINKLES
The Problem:
Wrinkles are the result of both aging and sun exposure. Aging thins collagen and elastin fibers, the basic framework of your skin. In addition, the subcutaneous fat layer under our skin decreases significantly as we age. Combined with exposure to the sun’s UVB rays, the skin’s underlying cellular structure weakens, allowing folds (wrinkles) to occur. Skin loses its elasticity and the ability to return quickly to its original shape. The Solution: There have been dramatic improvements in the treatment of wrinkles in the last several years, and we stay on the forefront of these developing technologies. Our unique protocols effectively remove layers of aged and damaged skin. Dead skin cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin’s own clarity and firmness to resurface. Our methods are fast and dramatically improve the appearance and health of your skin.
Treatments:
Dermis Stimulation
Increases cellular activity including collagen, fibroblast, and elastin production.
Firming/Hydrating
A focus on fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and brow.
Anti-Oxidant/Vitamin Rich
Addresses sun and free-radical damage resulting in premature aging.
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of the epidermis.
CELLULITE
The Problem:
Cellulite refers to the unsightly distribution of fat under the skin, especially in the thighs and buttocks. This subcutaneous fat is distributed in a manner that creates hollows and bumps in these areas. Usually affecting women more than men, fatty tissue bulges out from rigid connective strands creating a dimpled appearance. The Solution: We provide four different protocol options for the treatment of cellulite. In each instance, the objective is to smooth out the dimpling and increase the firmness and tone of the skin. You will notice an immediate reduction of adipose deposits, including a reduction of cutaneous granulosity, the so called “orange peel” skin.
Treatments:
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual stimulation to reduce the body’s toxicity.
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of the epidermis.
Dermis Stimulation
Increases cellular activity including collagen, fibroblast, and elastin production.
SUN DAMAGE
The Problem:
Broken capillaries. Wrinkling. Age Spots. Solar Keratosis. The effects of the sun exposure are well known today and most people understand the use of sun block lotions and protective clothing. However, there are several generations of people who enjoyed the outdoors without regard to the damaging characteristics of UVB rays. Even tanning beds contribute to the skin’s loss of elasticity. And as it is cumulative, sun exposure cannot be undone but you can improve the appearance of it. The Solution: We have developed a comprehensive program to address sun damaged skin. Through a vitamin-rich, anti-oxidant topical treatment and dermis stimulation, your skin is significantly renewed and refreshed. Clinically derived, your individual protocol followed daily will lessen or reduce the appearance of solar exposure.
Treatments:
Anti-Oxidant/Vitamin Rich
Addresses sun and free-radical damage resulting in premature aging.
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of the epidermis.
Dermis Stimulation
Increases cellular activity including collagen, fibroblast, and elastin production.
ACNE
The Problem:
While considered the bane of teenagers everywhere, acne can persist into one’s 40’s. It is a condition where the hormone Androgen stimulates the sebaceous glands to overproduce sebum (oil). That acts as a catalyst with bacteria to produce lesions, whiteheads, and cysts when infection occurs. Most distressing for patients is that acne carries with it anxious emotional complications, especially for young people in social situations. The Solution: We work with your dermatologist or physician to minimize future outbreaks and reduce the effects through scar revision. Deep cleaning to purify the skin, treating infection, and reducing bacterial activity, we also follow with deep extractions. We are especially adept at dealing with the topical sensitivity that comes with product use.
Treatments:
Acne Treatment
Scar Revision
Minimizes the wound site and restores even color.
PRE AND POST OP SURGERY
The Problem:
Surgery is an invasive procedure that places extreme demands on the skin’s ability to heal itself. Skin that has not been properly prepared prior to surgery will experience increased swelling, chance of infection and irritation. Ignoring post surgical care will create a deeper wound site, discoloration and a delayed healing process. The Solution: Here is a remarkable new resource for pre and post-operative patients that can greatly improve recovery. We offer a uniquely designed protocol and it is specifically applied to your condition to ensure the best possible results. Cosmetic plastic surgery, trauma, c-section, orthopedic, post-laser and burn patients, among others, will benefit from our customized treatments. Properly prepared and conditioned skin can better endure the stress of surgery, while reducing both swelling and irritation. Most post-operative patients will enjoy a quicker healing process with a marked decline in scarring and infection.
Treatments:
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of epidermis.
Anti-Inflammatory
Relieves erythema, edema, and irritation. Great for post-op patients.
Dermis Stimulation
Increases cellular activity including collagen, fibroblast, and elastin production.
Scar Revision
Minimizes the wound site and restores even color.
DERMATITIS
The Problem:
Inflammation of the skin is called dermatitis. It is the body’s defensive response to infection, injury, allergies, and a host of other processes, even the reaction to the components of cosmetics. It is characterized by redness, swelling, pain, or itching. Rosacea, erythema and edema are several skin disorders associated with inflammation of the skin. The Solution: Left untreated, dermatitis will weaken both the blood vessels and supportive tissues of the skin. The art of the treatment is to delicately rehydrate the skin and restore the skin’s equilibrium, a protocol of skin balancing exclusive to us. You will notice a visible reduction in both diffused and localized redness including the appearance of capillaries and signs related to couperose skin.
Treatments:
Dermis Stimulation
Increases cellular activity including collagen, fibroblast, and elastin production.
Anti-Inflammatory
Relieves erythema, edema, and irritation Great for post-op patients.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual stimulation to reduce the body’s toxicity.
OILY OR DRY SKIN
The Problem:
Both oily and dry skin are the direct result of sebaceous gland activity. Overactive sebaceous glands create oily skin, recognized by its shiny, thick appearance. Pores are enlarged and sometimes blocked and the skin is more prone to pimples and blemishes. Underactive sebaceous glands result in dry skin, appearing tight and dull in color. While the pores are almost invisible, dry skin tends to wrinkle easily and is often filled with tiny superficial lines. The sebaceous gland activity is a hereditary condition, and can be affected by the aging process. The Solution: Oily skin is a challenge since there is a fine balance between removing enough sebum (oil) to get rid of the facial “shine” while not inducing skin dehydration nor damaging the intercellular lipids. Dry skin responds well to moisturizers, but the product must be properly balanced to increase skin water content and decrease itching, stinging, or burning. We recommend a maintenance program and products that specifically addresses your type of skin, even those patients who share both oily and dry areas. Under this program, skin will appear smoother and healthier.

PIGMENTATION
The Problem:
Abrupt variations in the skin’s color, blotchiness and an uneven tone or tint to the skin are all symptoms of abnormal pigmentation. Your skin produces pigmented melanin as protection against the sun. However, as the melanin rises to the surface of the epidermis, damaged or unorganized cells can create discoloration. Ethnicity also plays a role: the major difference between black and white skins is that after an injury, black skin tends to color either darker or lighter when it heals. The Solution:We help you to even out your skin tone pigment. Through cellular oxygenation and renewal, you will notice a definite improvement, especially with a reduction in dark spots. By suppressing the melanocytes and naturally inhibiting the tyrosinase (a catalytic enzyme), you skin will be compact and even.
Treatments:
Discoloration
Focus on correcting discoloration/hyperpigmentation within the epidermis.
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of the epidermis.
Scar Revision
Minimizes the wound site and restores even color.
DEHYDRATION
The Problem:
Dehydration is a lack of water in and on the body’s skin. It can exacerbate conditions in both types of skin. Dry skin becomes flaky and cracked. Oily skin becomes even oilier. You cannot drink enough water to hydrate your skin in hot weather, nor can you expect all topical treatments to be absorbed by the skin. The Solution: To properly hydrate the skin takes special skills…the types of skills we practice. The secret to hydration is the ability – or process – of penetrating the skin with a treatment product. The size of the product’s molecules is important because if they are too big, the product will simply sit on top of your skin. We use products with smaller molecules, or break down large ones, so they can penetrate and be absorbed by the skin.
Treatments:
Epidermal Renewal
Corrections within the deep layer of the epidermis.
Firming/Hydrating
A focus on fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and brow.
